I’ve had 3 friends that have owned Camrys with no sense of adventure, those Camrys have come and gone, I’ve tried my best to goad them into throwing on my friend’s spare unused SW20 CT26 turbocharger. One of those cars eventually was sold to me: a 1997 5SFE/S51 5spd Camry. It was $250 and has quickly become a money-pit for my shenanigans.
It’s roached as hell, smells musty, the ignition switch is missing, it’s got dents everywhere, and has 215,000 miles.
